Learn how to effectively identify common gene mutations (SNP’s), read genetic reports, and apply this information in practice to further support patient care.
This course will teach you:
• How to identify common Single Nucleotide Polymorphism’s (SNP’s) in genetic reports and how they pertain to your patients health
• Where the methylation cycle fits into human biochemistry, physiology and common health conditions such as hormone metabolism, autism and developmental delays, heart disease, mental health, cancer, gut health, toxicity, digestion, skin conditions, asthma, detoxification, fertility, pregnancy, Lyme disease
• How to implement Naturopathic Modalities for the treatment and support of these changes in gene expression
• The limitations of treatment and testing as it pertains to Ontario Regulations
